Dior Homme A/W 10

Ive fallen in love with these grey tones. This palette is perfect. I really like this coat, its not too formal - almost dressing gown like but the piping on the inside is beautiful.

Dries Van Noten A/W 10

Mentioned below but I would like to point out this coat as it is just amazing. Simple, classic, new, fresh. Just what the Dr ordered!!
Trousers are brilliant too.

Givenchy A/W 10

I have a penchant for simple garments with unique pinpoints on them. This shirt I love, a new version of the dinner shirt, nice fit and good contrast fabric and colour white/grey. Good strong shirt.

Junya Watanabe Men A/W 10

Delicious choice of colours, I love the blue, and that pocket. A casual jacket over a suit - nice modern touch.

Comme Des Garcons A/W 10

CDG = pure genius. I love their designs, this suit is brilliant and fun. The shoes and socks are a briliant accent and lift the whole outfit. Big thumbs up.

Jonathan Saunders for Topshop.

I do quite like Jonathan Saunders but I don't know how I feel about him doing a collection for Topshop. All these designers pushing their diluted designs onto a public that probably never knew who they were, hmmm I just feel like it's a bit of a sell out for money I guess. Keep your integrity, you would never have seen Coco Channel or Yves Saint Laurent selling their soul to Topshop.

Oh hello cushions.

Basically the point of my title explained through cushion mime.

Okay so everyone knows the olde PC command CTRL_ALT_DEL.

For Mac users the same command is this.
Many people will know what my title does, it's very useful.
Ill let you guess.

Delicate Mayhem.

I came across an artist I really liked today in Brick Lane. Her name is Laura Jordan and her work is so good! Really intricate pen drawings with ink almost a collage image of bits and bobs of London, they are really lovely. Check out her website at www.delicatemayhem.com/

This one was my favorite. I really love quirky, individual art work like this, it makes me miss my art foundation course but so happy at the same time!

Hair.

I was stopped on Oxford Street on Monday evening by a fellow fashion student asking to photograph my hair and what my inspiration was. I jokingly said Cruella DeVil but I don't think she caught on.

I dressed up as Cruella at Primary School on Book Day, I don't like the fur though.

Sunday is Brick Lane day.

Here's this weeks Brick Lane outfit. Im off to take some photo's and drool over the designer suits in Rokit and Beyond Retro.

Sjaak Hullekes A/W 10

The pigments are divine. That nude pink is one of my ultimate colours and these shots look so slick.

10 stars for HMV customer service on Bond Street today. Im thinking alot about robots these days for my collection next year at university so I asked a member of staff that just happened to walk past me in the ginormous store and by fluke he knew all about anime robot films and he gave me some great tips and names that I never would of known.
Thanks Robocop in HMV!!!!!

Temperley London

I am on an internship at Temperley London in the pattern cutting studio and it is the most amazing place to do a placement at. I have learnt so much whilst I have been there and the staff are brilliant with their students. We get taught alot and given alot of responsibility, I absolutely love it!
There will be more to come on here from Tempeley, especially the new diffusion line Alice by Temperley.

Lovely oversized dropped waistcoat from Ennio Capasa. I always like his colour palettes, right up my street.

Etro A/W 10

Yes. Yes. Yes. 10 points for colour, 10 points for cut, 10 points for knit. I bloomin love this!!!!

Jean Paul Gaultier A/W 10

Another man that knows how to do a good suit. Not too sure on the rest of the collection (mainly bloody wrestlers with muscle suit, boxing gloves and JPG wrestling belt) but the tailoring I love. I am loving the cream lining in the overcoat, very nice indeed.

I have started a new collection of mens suits and tailored jackets from vintage stores around London, they are at work at the minute Im going t take the pattern from them but I shall shortly have photo's.

YSL A/W 10

There is no excuse I can accept for anyone not bowing at the feet of the ultimate master himself, Mister Yves Saint Laurent. He wasn't joking when he said, 'Fashion's fade but style is eternal'. YSL is what style means, it's not overpowering, it's not trend based, it's not made to last for one season, it's built on STYLE. A style that will live on for many many years.

Vivienne Westwood A/W 10

This is my favorite of Westwood's recent collection. Like the double collar theme here is a 'double cuff'. I like this rolled up sleeve effect for a different print to be underneath but the same garment. A nice touch - twisted authenticity, we all know she's the queen of that!

Viktor & Rolf A/W 10

A long serving member of the V&R fanclub, I adore their design philosophy and catwalk 'experiences'. It's never just an endless stream of models spilling out onto the catwalk, it's a show. They are incredible and this season they continue to set that in stone.

Giuliano Fujiwara A/W10

This I adore. Im a big fan of neutral tones - I love designing in them yet I like to wear colourful garments myself, odd?
The olive green overcoat is my favourite, Ive seen alot of double collars in London today - Vivienne westwood menswear and John Lewis dpt store window. I am liking that effect alot and wouldn't mind looking into it some more for my own work. You could do some pretty dramatic things with a double collar theory.

So yes I like Fujiwara's collection alot it's strong, masculine, creative and slick.

Dries Van Noten A/W 10

Another menswear genius. The colours in this collection are tasteful yet daring. The detail of the sleeves and lapels are a winner for me. I like twists on traditionalism in menswear.

Rick Owens A/W 10

Stunning structure, amazing colours, eerie presence. He's done it again.
